Our office plans to reopen in late May pending official direction from our Governor. Our top priority is always the safety of our patients and staff. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, our office rigorously maintained the highest standards of sterilization and disinfectant practices, meeting and exceeding the guidelines provided by our local and national organizations and OSHA. When we do open our doors, we will be implementing additional procedures and technology to ensure the safety of our patients and our staff. Our offices are now equipped with air purifier systems including the use of UV lighting throughout the office, which has been proven effective against COVID-19. We will also be using fogging machines to sterilize the air and every surface of our operatories to the best of our abilities. These machines will be used after every patient. We will check everyone’s temperature upon arrival, including each staff member, via a no-touch infrared thermometer. The doctors and staff will all utilize effective personal protective equipment.
For the indefinite future, we will ask patients to remain in their vehicles until we call you in for your appointment. This will limit your time in the office and also eliminate potential contacts in our waiting area. If you have been exposed to anyone with a fever, cough, cold, muscle aches, or fatigue in the 14 days prior to your appointment, or if you are experiencing any of these symptoms, we will reschedule your appointment. As we get closer to reopening, there may be additional actions we deem necessary, and we will keep you informed. We are available via our office phone numbers for any of your questions. We look forward to seeing you soon!
